Sauna Protocol: Your Guide to an Optimal Sauna Experience
Welcome to our sauna oasis! To ensure you have the best sauna
experience, please follow these guidelines:
Before Your Sauna Session:
- Arrival: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled session to prepare and unwind.
- Dietary Precaution: Enjoy your last meal at least 60 minutes before your session to aid in proper digestion.
- Hydration: Drink 8oz. of water to prepare for the increase in core body temperature during your sauna session.
- Skin Preparation: Avoid applying oil or lotion to your skin before entering the sauna.
- Digital Detox: Leave your phone outside the sauna for a truly immersive experience.
- No Food Inside: Please refrain from eating in the sauna to maintain a clean and relaxing environment.
- Bamboo Comfort: Use Bamboo Carbon Towels on the bench to absorb sweat and enhance your comfort.
- Safety Check: We will check on you 10 minutes after the treatment begins to ensure your well-being.
- Sweat Gradually: In your initial sessions, don’t worry if you don’t sweat much. Sweat levels typically increase with regular use.
- Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to your body’s signals. If you experience nausea, fatigue, or flu-like symptoms, exit the sauna immediately. Consult a physician if these symptoms persist.
- Safety Note: Infrared sauna use is not recommended for pregnant women and children 12 years old or younger.
After Your Sauna Session:
- Hydrate: Replenish your fluids by drinking at least 24 oz. of water or an electrolyte beverage.
- Towel Off: Dry off using a Bamboo Carbon towel for ultimate comfort.
- Cool Down Naturally: Allow your body to cool down naturally after the session.
